The Milner family founds Lanier Business Products, Inc., laying the foundation for Milner’s future success.
1987
Milner opens for business with sales and service of office equipment.
1989
Milner acquires Records Management Solutions and establishes its sales and service of Minolta’s Micrographic and Document Imaging products.
1994
Milner acquires Comsquared Systems (now Milner Technologies), strengthening its position as a leader in the Document Imaging Software marketplace.
1995
Milner acquires the distribution rights and customer base of Lanier’s Facsimile business in its territories.
1999
Milner becomes the largest Ricoh dealer in the Southeast.
2003
Milner acquires Cavin’s, Inc. in Raleigh, NC, expanding its distribution of Lanier’s office equipment products into eastern North Carolina.
2009
Milner expands its document office products by becoming a dealer of Konica-Minolta and later Lexmark products.
2010
Milner incorporates Telephony and Speech Recognition products into its offerings through Milner Voice & Data, Inc.
2011
Milner expands its IT Support offerings to the small to medium business marketplace in the form of outsourced IT support and hosted infrastructure.
2014
Milner expands its sales and service locations with a new office in Tampa, FL.
2017
Milner acquires a large part of Ricoh’s Direct Sales business customers throughout the Southeast and continues to expand its sales and service locations in Florida with a new office in Orlando.
2021
Tom McMahon promoted to President of Milner, Inc., assuming overall Sales and Operations responsibilities, bringing a new wave of excitement and anticipation for the future.
2023
Milner celebrates 36 years of service as one of the largest independent office dealers in the Southeast.
