- Gene W. Milner, Sr.
While it is true that Milner roots itself in technology, our ultimate goal has always been to forge meaningful, long-term ties with the customers, partners, students, educators and nonprofit organizations that make up the communities we serve.
These relationships make us who we are: An engaged workforce dedicated to our Core Values. From the words of our founder Gene W. Milner, Sr., "The story of Milner is that of its people." This sentiment transcends beyond the four walls of our building to every business and organization who partners with us.
Milner encourages employees to support the organizations that mean the most to them. Our employees contribute time, resources, and skills to help build vibrant, resilient, and healthy communities. Milner team members participate in an array of nonprofit organizations through volunteerism, charity walks, and various fundraising events annually, and we, as a company, sponsor and support customer events that aim to raise awareness for causes we believe in.
Many families struggle to make ends meet, and every day some of those same families receive the devastating news that their child has a life-threatening illness. Since 2013, The Jillian Fund has provided financial support—including rent, car payments, insurance, utility bills and childcare expenses—to families of children with life-threatening illnesses. Over the years, Milner has contributed to the fund’s mission as an active participant and annual supporter of The Ride for Jillian, an annual event featuring the Patriots Pack, which has generated over $80,000 in donations.
Emory University has built a strong reputation as one of the nation's top-rated universities in sustainability. Founded in 2006, Emory's Office of Sustainability Initiatives (OSI) carries out this imperative by helping to restore the global ecosystem,
fostering healthy living and reducing the University’s impact on the local environment. As a proud partner, Milner supports the universities efforts by annual donation and proactively working to help reduce its carbon footprint.

For over 100 years, The YMCA has dedicated itself to building healthy, confident and secure children, families and communities. As a proud partner, Milner has supported and promoted a number of the Y's initiatives from Youth and Collegiate Sports Programs to Veterans Day Fundraisers, Water Safety Initiatives, and special events. Each year, we strive to make connections with the local YMCA's in each of the markets we serve to continue their mission to give people of all ages, backgrounds and walks of life the opportunity to reach their full potential with dignity.
As a technology company, Milner is always looking forward in anticipation of future needs and ways we can better assist our clients. Partnering with Meadowcreek High Schools gives Milner the opportunity to play a vital role in developing the workforce of the future-- providing students with an opportunity to learn in the ‘working world’ as they gain industry certifications.
The 50 For 50 Program, in partnership with Icon Source, is the first of its kind to connect brands to athletes. Inspired to highlight gender equality, 50 for 50 helps to boost awareness and financial support to college female athletes. With the expansion of NIL deals in the NCAA, Milner is proud to partner with 4 very special student athletes from the following schools: University of Florida, Florida State University, University of Central Florida, and University of Miami. It is our hope to continue to build upon the program's mission to empower young girls to maintain healthy lifestyles through sports.
Over the years, we have helped to raise awareness, recruit volunteers, and organize fundraisers for various community service projects in each of our offices. Each year, we show our support by participating in many causes such as: The American Heart Association's National Wear Red Day, October's Breast Cancer Awareness Month, and March of Dimes.
In addition to those listed above, we support the following organizations:
